The major projects of Waitara Rotary Club are:

Fundraisers:

  • U Beaut Car Boot Sale - held every second month at the Hornsby TAFE Car park
  • Christmas Tree Sales every December outside Hornsby Bowling Club Edgeworth David Avenue Hornsby
  • Entertainment Book Sales

Projects:

  • Community Connections, supporting the local community specifically through PCYC, Studio ARTES, Waitara Primary, Fusion, Hornsby Rockets
  • Rotary Youth Exchange
  • Fiji Crippled Childrens School
  • Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

The logo for the Rotary Club of Waitara was created by Lars Emmerson from Studio ARTES Northside Inc.
It represents the Sydney Blue Gums that were once prevalent in this area.
